Alfajores & Mas
Sharing Peruvian Bites
We’ve been making alfajores for over 10+ years! An alfajor is a butter cookie sandwich filled with manjar blanco (Dulce de leche) or other delicious fillings. We use a traditional Peruvian technique but are inspired by local & fun flavors such as ube or mango. We love creating & innovating new flavors and presentations.
Over the last couple of years we have expanded our offerings to include other delicious and traditional styled baked goods such as Empanadas, Piononos, and Crema Volteadas.
OUR ROOTS
Alfajores Narciso was established in 2012 by Patricia Narciso.
In 2011 she made her first batch of alfajores at home, they were delicious! Her cousin Karim encouraged her to begin her own business in doing something that she was passionate about, and Alfajores Narciso was born.
At the beginning the only flavor Patty made was the classic alfajor with manjar blanco (dulce de leche) sprinkled with powdered sugar on top, but then she began to take inspiration from the vibrant San Francisco food scene. Many unique flavors were created, and she revolutionized what once was a traditional pastry evolving it into what people know as Alfajores Narciso setting it apart from other alfajores. With unique flavors ranging from ube to Nutella, and always taking inspiration from ingredients around her, the Alfajor Narciso is ever evolving.
Patricia is so excited to expand her baked goods offerings and share with you some of her favorite peruvian baked goods.
